Abstract

Religious values play an important role in shaping ethical leadership within academic environments. This study examines how values such as honesty, justice, discipline, responsibility, and social concern influence leadership ethics in educational institutions. Using a qualitative approach with library research methods, data were collected from books, journals, and scientific articles. The findings reveal that implementing religious values positively affects leadership by strengthening integrity, transparency, responsibility, and fairness in decision-making processes. Leaders who apply these values tend to become better role models and create a more harmonious and disciplined academic culture. The study concludes that integrating religious values into educational systems is essential for developing professional, ethical, and morally grounded leadership capable of improving the quality and trustworthiness of academic institutions.
